Banana is a thematic exploration of ‘the familiar in everyday life,’ under the supervision of Kenya Hara. As one of the most common fruits in our daily lives, the banana seems familiar, but how well do we really know it? By looking at something ordinary from unusual perspectives and engaging with it through curiosity, we may glimpse what lies beneath the surface. This way of thinking opens up new possibilities within design process.
